Twiggy only modelled for four years, but that was enough to secure her position as the face of the 1960s and the fashion icon for a generation. During her years as a model, Twiggy posed for some of the top photographers, including Barry Lategan, Melvin Sokolsky, Richard Avendon and Bert Stern who would make three films about her extraordinary trip to the United States in 1967.
